The client is seeking a Director of Institutional Giving to oversee the strategy, performance, and operations of their institutional giving vertical.

This senior leadership role will report directly to the Vice President, Investor Relations, once appointed.
In the interim, the role will connect with the President and Chief of Staff to ensure strategic oversight and team alignment.
As a key member of the Development team, the Director will work closely with other departments to advance the organization's five-year strategic plan and enhance its institutional fundraising capabilities.
The Director of Institutional Giving will be responsible for managing a portfolio of over 75 foundation and corporate donors.
They will design and implement cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies aimed at increasing donor engagement, retention, and contribution levels.
The Director acts as a representative of the organization with funders and stakeholders and ensures effective donor engagement and portfolio management.
They will also lead the development and execution of annual plans and targets that align with the client's long-term fundraising goals.
This role requires owning the institutional grant lifecycle from prospect research to proposal development, submission, and renewal strategy.
The Director will independently craft high-quality proposals and reports, coordinating with Programs, Finance, and Development Operations to align on budgets and deliverables.
The individual will manage a Senior Associate of Institutional Giving and work to strengthen departmental systems and practices. xsgimln
Additionally, they will provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform organizational fundraising strategies, contributing to the development and operations of the team.
