Director of Finance

A luxury full-service hotel in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead its finance and accounting operations. The role requires overseeing all on-property financial functions and partnering closely with ownership and corporate stakeholders. The candidate should have deep hotel finance expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a dynamic, high-volume environment. The Director of Finance will manage all on-property accounting operations, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with ownership, brand, and regulatory financial standards while maintaining strong internal controls. Additionally, the role involves overseeing monthly closing processes, managing audits, and producing accurate and timely financial statements, as well as providing financial guidance to hotel leadership. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field, along with over ten years of progressive finance experience, including at least five years in a senior hotel finance leadership role. The role requires a proven ability to manage all property-level accounting functions within a high-performing, full-service hotel environment. Candidates must also possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, hands-on leadership abilities, and comfort in leading change within a tenured team.
