Responsibilities of the Director of Finance
- Lead financial modeling and underwriting for new sites, expansions, relocations, and closures
- Evaluate site economics, including buildout costs, lease vs. own decisions, ramp curves, payer mix, staffing models, margins, and ROI/IRR analysis
- Monitor real estate and site portfolio performance; identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure elimination of expenses tied to closed locations
- Track actual performance versus pro‑forma assumptions; implement corrective actions and standardize underwriting assumptions and financial playbooks
- Partner with executive leadership on market expansion, de novo initiatives, tuck‑in acquisitions, joint ventures, and service‑line growth; support M&A diligence and post‑integration analytics
- Build scalable financial models for volume, revenue, and profitability; deliver scenario analysis and long‑term value assessments
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and capital deployment; develop dashboards and board‑ready reporting
- Ensure accurate capitalization, lease accounting, compliance, and governance related to site openings, closures, and asset redeployment
- Translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Mentor and develop finance and cross‑functional team members; strengthen scalable financial processes and decision support
- Manage team performance, staffing, development, and key HR decisions within the finance function
Qualifications Preferred for the Director of Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibility and real estate finance
- Strong background in financial modeling, capital analysis, and strategic decision support
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and navigating complex, growth‑oriented environments
Compensation Range: $150,000-$200,000 + bonus
