About the Opportunity
A well-established,
OCC-regulated
financial institution
is seeking a
Commercial Loans Portfolio Manager
to support the ongoing management, credit oversight, and performance of an existing CRE & C&I loan portfolio. This role offers strong exposure to both
portfolio management and deal execution , partnering closely with lending and credit teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a portfolio of
commercial real estate loans , ensuring credit quality and compliance Conduct
financial analysis , including cash flow, collateral, and guarantor strength Monitor
loan covenants, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews Identify and escalate
emerging credit risks or performance issues Prepare
credit memos, risk assessments, and portfolio reports Support
new deal evaluation and underwriting
from initial screening through closing Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams on
transaction execution Ensure adherence to
credit policy, OCC regulatory standards, BSA/AML, and OFAC requirements Maintain accurate
credit files, documentation, and portfolio tracking Participate in
client meetings, site visits, and property inspections
Qualifications
3+ years
of experience in: CRE Portfolio Management Credit Analysis / Underwriting Commercial Banking
Strong understanding of:
CRE loan structures (perm, construction, bridge, transitional) Financial statement analysis, rent rolls, and projections Experience working in a
regulated banking environment Ability to present
credit recommendations to senior leadership Strong organizational and analytical skills Willingness to travel locally
