Your role Projects and Business Development • Responsible for the daily leadership of Portfolio Specialists • Assign resources in the daily meeting to meet project objectives • Align Portfolio Specialists with standard ways of working ensuring cross training and support for all BU's • Provide measurable sales growth and business development for the team by responding to off shelf submissions and starting points for new project requests • Demonstrate detailed understanding of product range, value points, cost in use guardrails • Make recommendations to answer briefs from the portfolio or enable the creative process. • Identify gaps and initiatives for NA collections based on new flavor and market trends • Ensure the inclusion of new and winning products, tools and technologies for a winning collection
New Product Development Interface • Lifecycle management of portfolio including updating and modernizing portfolio, phasing out poor performers or outdated products to ensure we maintain a relevant local winning collection. • Monitor KPIs and communicate portfolio effectiveness within the respective business units. • Recognize and communicate product collection changes needed based on customer pricing targets. • Frame the need for new solutions and transfer the outcome into market relevant products solutions together with R&T and Creation/Application. • Identify gaps, technologies, solutions that need to be created to meet customer needs. Roll out and Positioning • Organizes product portfolio to support Sales and Category with clear differentiators for relevant market segments • Execute commercial trainings on new product lines local and/or global. • Define regional positioning and roadmap for roll out of product ranges. • Participate in the commercialization process of SGP initiatives with Category support Market and Business Intelligence • Work with Marketing and Category to understand the Business Unit market segments, customer needs and competitive landscape on a local and global level • Maintain up to date competitive product and taste solutions regionally Global Functions: • Interface with Global counterparts to ensure alignment • Communicate and exchange ways of working with other Regions for all Business units • Participate in selection of globally harmonized portfolio tools
About you Experience Requirements: • Minimum BS degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent, master's degree preferred. • 5+ years relevant industry experience • Demonstrated knowledge of flavor in food or beverage from both a Technical and Commercial perspective • Action oriented, customer focus and enjoys working in matrix organization • Excellent manager with demonstrated concern for excellence. • Commercial awareness and acuity • IT Skills-Windows/Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected annual salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 - USD $100,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
