Cote Korean Steakhouse Flatiron 16 West 22nd Street Base pay starts at $17/hr Health Insurance Dental Insurance PTO 401K Receives all clean glassware, flatware, plate ware, and other service equipment from the porters in the dish pit and inspects for flaws before polishing. Removes cracked or defective items from service and informs management. Polishes all clean glassware, flatware, plate ware, and other service equipment to a perfect shine. Ensures no watermarks, stains, lint, or other debris remain on product. Regularly polishes and maintains metallic grill rims, grill equipment, and kitchen pots and pans using metal polish. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the dish pit area at all times. Daily cleaning of ice machines, coffee station, water station, and refrigerators. Completes all assigned side work related to set up and breakdown of dish pit area. Maintains all tools of the position including specialty glass polishing clothes. Reports to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work. Assists other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management. Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs). Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors. Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates. Must be reachable by email and able to communicate via phone as well. Polished personal presentation; Grooming meets company standards outlined in the Employee Handbook. Excellent communication with management and teammates. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and New York State Department of Health standards for the dish pit and chemical use. Hourly compensation based on experience.
