Job Summary:
The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility in Haverhill, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (Therapy) to join our team. As a department head, you will be responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, marketing, and operations of the rehab program within the facility. This is a full‑time salaried role with weekly pay up to $60 an hour, depending on experience and license. Must be a PT, OT, or SLP.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality and appropriateness of patient care meets or exceeds company and industry standards
Direct and assess the scheduling of patients/residents for therapy services
Participate in team meetings to formulate treatment plans and discuss progress and discharge planning
Review therapist documentation practices for clarity, conciseness, and consistency with patient outcome goals and payor expectations
Maintain a clinical caseload as needed
Generate and analyze financial, operational, and productivity reports
Ensure accurate and complete statistics, patient outcome data, and billing logs
Supervise program staff in daily program operations and clinical activities
Coordinate program development activities with other department directors
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech/Language Pathology
Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professions required
Two to four years of clinical experience required
One to two years of supervisory experience with multi‑disciplines preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to function effectively in multi‑faced systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
