Analyst - Real Estate Investments A leading vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its Investments team. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate transactions across multiple asset classes and markets.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate new real estate investment opportunities. Perform detailed financial underwriting and due diligence for prospective acquisitions. Build, enhance, and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze returns, capital structures, and risk. Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and support Investment Committee presentations. Conduct market research to validate investment assumptions, identify trends, and support deal theses. Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, lenders, and third-party consultants to advance transactions through closing. Track and manage the deal pipeline, monitoring transaction status, milestones, and key investment metrics. Provide analytical support and strategic recommendations related to pricing, structuring, and risk assessment.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related discipline. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Argus is a plus. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and performance metrics, including IRR, equity multiple, DCF, and NOI.
