What You'll Do
As a Yard Porter, you're the reason our lot looks sharp and our customers get a great first impression. You'll spend most of your day outside and in the shop, cleaning and moving equipment, keeping the yard and facilities in order, and helping the team however they need it. No two days are exactly the same.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: Washing, wiping down, and prepping equipment for display and sale Mowing, edging, and maintaining the yard and surrounding grounds Moving and staging equipment and displays around the lot and shop Operating (or learning to operate) forklifts and agricultural/turf/light construction equipment Loading and strapping equipment to trailers as needed General shop and facility maintenance Running errands and other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
This is a physically active, outdoor role. We'll teach you what you don't know, but you need to show up ready to work hard and take direction.
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stay on your feet most of the day Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks without constant supervision Basic computer skills required; you'll use our dealer management system (CDK) to log equipment movements and updates Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person What WCTractor Offers
