Monday-Friday and
must
be able to work 40 hours a week between the hours of 8am-5pm
Working in office at least 3 days
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Our Promise each and every day,
performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
Answer incoming calls to receive referrals or route the call to the appropriate personnel
or department to respond to the matter
Ensure clients are oriented to the agency in an empathetic, professional and efficient
manner while complying with all state and federal regulations.
Facilitate referrals and linkages to appropriate external and internal services and
providers and coordinate care, as needed, for the curation of client treatment.
Ensure effective communication to potential clients and/or referral sources regarding
OhioGuidestone programs and services.
Confirm insurance information for individuals seeking services with OhioGuidestone.
Manage the documentation requirements of the intake process within the required time
frames and ensuring that all aspects of intake documentation meet or exceed state and
federal regulations.
Maintain confidentiality as required by state and federal regulations.
Collaborate and consult with Finance Department and Benefit Eligibility Specialists to
ensure clean claims for all services billed after the intake process is complete.
Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present
the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
1+ years’ experience working with children, youth and families in a healthcare setting performing similar responsibilities preferred.
Qualifications:
Mission-driven; strong desire to make an impact
Effective interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally and courteously with clients, agency personnel, vendors, authorities and other organizations.
Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.
Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment
Flexible; occasionally may have to work beyond regular business hours with or without
notice to meet the needs of clients
Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.
Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
Successfully meet pre-employment drug screen, physical exam and pre-employment background requirements.
