About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Actuarial Reinsurance Pricing and Portfolio Optimization. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides strategic advisory services and transactional excellence in the reinsurance sector. This role involves a wide range of activities, including reinsurance pricing analysis, client interaction, and market research. The Vice President will be responsible for performing actuarial analysis to develop loss models, estimate reinsurance pricing, and determine optimal reinsurance structures based on client risk profiles and underwriting strategies. They will also be involved in presenting analyses, assisting in market studies, and contributing to the company's thought leadership in the reinsurance and primary marketplace.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 9 years' related experience, and hold an FCAS or ACAS designation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, R, and/or Python is required. The role demands a problem-solver with advanced mathematical and actuarial skills, the ability to apply high standards of quality control, and a proactive approach to seeking data and solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building relationships with brokers and clients and for clearly explaining technical concepts.
