About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Multifamily Property Management Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, driving operational performance, and supporting on-site leadership teams. This hands-on role requires a focus on managing property operations, financial outcomes, and resident satisfaction across multiple communities. The AVP will also act as a key liaison between corporate leadership and property teams, ensuring consistency in execution, strong financial performance, and alignment with ownership objectives.
Key responsibilities for the AVP include leading and supporting multiple property teams, conducting routine site visits, partnering with on-site leadership to achieve goals, overseeing budgeting processes, and analyzing reporting metrics to provide strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a regional manager or AVP-level role within multifamily property management, with a background in third-party management and hands-on experience across various asset classes. Proficiency in property management platforms, strong financial acumen, and the ability to lead and develop teams are essential. The role also requires excellent communication skills, a professional and direct leadership style, and the ability to manage competing priorities while traveling as needed. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
