Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to support campaign development, automation, and messaging solutions across email and SMS channels. This role involves working within a structured environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communication workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and MobileConnect
Assist with SMS setup, including keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out processes, and compliance requirements
Develop and manage automated journeys, triggered communications, and scheduled campaigns
Build and maintain data extensions, audience segmentation, and SQL queries
Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript
Support integrations between Marketing Cloud and other enterprise systems
Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns, data, and automation processes
Follow established governance, security, and compliance standards
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Experience with AMPscript and SQL within Marketing Cloud
Familiarity with SMS messaging and consent management practices
Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards
Ability to work effectively in a structured team environment
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Salesforce, with a focus on Marketing Cloud
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification
Experience with MobileConnect and SMS configuration processes
Experience working with public sector or regulated environments
Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG or Section 508
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM
Additional Information
Experience supporting government or healthcare organizations is a plus
Strong problem-solving and communication skills are preferred
