Role Overview
As a key and results‑oriented leader in this role, you will oversee the compliance, growth, and strategic direction of RTX's classified enterprise networks. These critical networks include the RTX DoD Collateral eWAN, Classified Cloud, Special Access Program (SAP), and Industry Connections (ICON). You will spearhead the Enterprise Networks team, driving sustainment, business expansion, and the evaluation of new services and capabilities, all while assessing risk and ensuring a robust security posture. In addition to leading Enterprise Classified Networks (ECN), you will also provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise to the Government Security Compliance (GSC) organization’s focus areas of: Special Access Program (SAP) Security, Industrial Security, Special Projects, Information & Evaluation Resources, and Inspection Readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Classified Networks: Serve as a senior leader and provide technical consultation on the leadership, management and security of classified enterprise networks. Influence and align Digital Technology (DT) and security teams to uphold the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.
- Lead collaboration with Classified Digital Services (CDS) and RTX Business Units to align network initiatives with business adoption roadmaps.
- Drive innovation and ensure the seamless operation of classified networks, balancing security requirements with business needs.
- Foster strong partnerships both internally and externally, including with leaders in Classified Digital Services (CDS), Business Unit (BU) Global Security Services (GSS), and Digital Technologies (DT).
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with government accrediting officials and industry peers, ensuring compliance with evolving standards and best practices.
- Lead the RTX Cybersecurity Council to strengthen enterprise alignment, reduce duplication, and improve communication and transparency.
- Represent RTX GSC Cybersecurity in key government and industry working groups, including NISA WG, CASSWG, and NDIA/AIA.
Responsibilities in close collaboration with the Director, Classified Security Services
- Special Program Security: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for special program security initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Influence cross-functional teams across the BUs to implement a robust security program and safeguard sensitive information.
- Industrial Security: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive industrial security strategies. Guide and mentor security teams to ensure the protection of assets and compliance with industry standards, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
- Special Projects: Direct and coordinate high-impact special projects, aligning resources and teams to achieve strategic objectives. Leverage influence to ensure successful project outcomes and drive innovation within the organization.
- Information & Evaluation Resources: Oversee the strategic management of information and evaluation resources, ensuring accurate data analysis and reporting to support executive decision‑making. Align teams and resources to optimize information management processes.
- Inspection Readiness: Ensure continuous inspection readiness through the development and implementation of proactive processes and procedures across the BUs and Corporate Teams. Validate teams maintain high standards of compliance and preparedness for Customer inspections and audits.

Strong collaboration and cooperation skills, diplomatic and business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate across technical and business domains will be key to success in this role.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience working with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-53, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Zoom/Teams, ability to work in high pressure, time‑sensitive environments and interact with personnel in stressful situations.
- Ability to manage projects, and work independently, prioritizing work in time‑sensitive situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and superior attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success working in fast paced, sometimes stressful environments.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships with Business Units, Program Managers, International Security Managers, and foster a collaborative and strong security culture within multidisciplinary teams.
