Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading global investment firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to focus on the review and oversight of investor-facing materials, with particular emphasis on fund marketing and collateral.

This role sits at the intersection of legal and compliance, advising on regulatory requirements under the Investment Advisers Act.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on investor-facing materials, including fund marketing collateral and related disclosures
• Ensure compliance with applicable marketing rules and regulatory standards
• Partner closely with investment, product, and compliance teams on the development and use of marketing materials
• Provide guidance on messaging, positioning, and risk considerations across investment strategies
• Oversee and mentor junior team members, contributing to best practices and internal processes
• Engage deeply with complex regulatory and disclosure issues, maintaining a high standard of drafting and accuracy

Qualifications

• 10-15 years in asset management legal or compliance, with a focus on marketing/investor materials
• Strong background from a top-tier law firm; additional in-house experience is a plus
• Deep familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act and marketing rule requirements
• Proven ability to review and refine detailed disclosures with precision and sound judgment

$350,000 - $400,000 base salary + competitive bonus structure
