SPACESINC is seeking a detail‑oriented Technical Interior Designer to join our growing Interior Construction Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and construction, and enjoys translating ideas into precise documentation and visualizations that bring projects to life.
As a Technical Interior Designer, you will support interior construction projects by developing accurate drawings, renderings, and material takeoffs, while collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and trade partners to ensure designs translate seamlessly from concept to installation. This role will also support our Falkbuilt Digital Component Construction projects, utilizing Revit‑based workflows to deliver highly coordinated interior environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive cost estimates for a wide variety of construction projects
Survey and evaluate potential worksites to assess feasibility, risks, and associated costs
Partner with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure estimates align with defined project scope and intent
Review and verify vendor and subcontractor pricing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Present cost estimates clearly and professionally to clients, leadership, and project stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in commercial interiors, architecture, or interior construction environments preferred, but not required.
Experience with applications such as Revit and BlueBeam are a plus!
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and interior construction terminology.
Ability to develop architectural construction sets including floor plans, elevations, electrical plans, details, and schedules.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects simultaneously.
Comfortable evaluating job site conditions and construction constraints.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new project management and collaboration technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and project documentation systems
