About the Role
The Web Marketing Intern will support the marketing team through brand research, competitive analysis, web development, and analytics integration while executing a capstone project that delivers a measurable, functional marketing asset. As a member of the Marketing department, the intern will be a collaborative, curious, and driven contributor.

Location: Rocklin, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Compensation: $19.23 – $21.63 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Conduct brand, audience, and competitive research to support marketing strategy and positioning.

Perform website content audits and SEO keyword research to identify performance gaps and opportunities.

Analyze marketing performance data across platforms including Google Analytics (GA4) and the company CRM (Marketo).

Document and map the company’s marketing tech stack, tools, and platform integrations.

Design wireframes and user experience flows for web‑based marketing components using Figma or Framer.

Build and deploy a functional review module on the company’s Framer website, including form integration and mobile‑responsive design.

Configure and validate custom event tracking in Google Analytics (GA4) via Google Tag Manager.

Author a formal PMO Integration Requirements ticket to coordinate CRM data pipeline work with the project management team.

Serve as the marketing liaison to the PMO team throughout the CRM integration process, providing requirements, clarifications, and testing support.

Maintain thorough project documentation including a Tech Stack Audit, Analytics Event Map, and Integration Summary.

Develop and deliver a professional capstone presentation to internal stakeholders summarizing research, design decisions, technical build, and business impact.

Produce a complete handoff documentation package to ensure continuity of the capstone project after the internship concludes.

Shadow and support the Web Manager across active campaigns, channel reviews, and team meetings.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience

Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (required).

Prior internship, coursework, or project‑based experience in marketing, web design, or digital analytics (preferred).

No professional certifications required; Google Analytics certifications a plus.

Skills

Strong time‑management and organizational skills with the ability to manage a multi‑week project independently.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical requirements for non‑marketing stakeholders.

Comfortable with presentation and public speaking; must deliver a formal capstone presentation to internal stakeholders.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and learning.

Technology

Ability to use a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other standard tools including Google Workspace.

Familiarity with or willingness to learn Framer (web design and publishing platform).

Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (preferred).

Exposure to a CRM platform such as Salesforce or Marketo (preferred).

Basic experience with design or wireframing tools such as Figma (preferred).

Other

Experience working in a professional office setting (preferred).

Exceptional teamwork and cross‑functional communication skills; will coordinate directly with the PMO team.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative, follow a structured plan, and see a project through from research to delivery.

Interest in legal services, legal technology, or B2B professional services a plus.

Environment & Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including: lifting, bending, standing, climbing or walking while carrying out assigned duties; sitting for at least one hour at a time (total 6–8 hours/day); keyboarding for extended periods (total 6–8 hours/day); using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total 1–2 hours/day); driving for extended periods up to 1–2 hours in a day and up to 25–50 miles per day.

Travel
Travel may be required up to 10% of working hours.
