Single Source Insurance is seeking a motivated, goal-oriented Commercial Insurance Producer with an entrepreneurial mindset and a true hunter mentality to join our growing Florida-based team. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering tailored commercial insurance solutions that protect our clients and support their success.

Responsibilities
New Business Development

Identify, develop, and secure new commercial insurance opportunities across Florida

Build and manage a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, email, and in-person outreach

Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads and referrals

Prequalify prospects to ensure strong risk fit and long-term viability

Maintain and actively manage a prospect and client database

Client Strategy & Sales Execution

Design customized insurance programs tailored to each client’s business operations and risk exposure

Analyze exposures, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions

Prepare and present proposals in a clear, confident, and consultative manner

Close new business while building trust and long-term relationships

Account Growth & Retention

Build and manage a profitable book of business for both Single Source Insurance and our carrier partners

Conduct annual coverage reviews to ensure clients remain properly protected

Identify and act on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities that benefit the client

Partner with service team to ensure smooth onboarding, renewals, and policy servicing

Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and service

Collaboration & Operations

Work closely with internal teams to gather underwriting information and deliver accurate submissions

Document all client interactions and activity within the Agency Management System

Support renewal processes, marketing efforts, and proposal preparation

Uphold Single Source Insurance’s high standard of communication and service

Professional Development

Participate in team meetings and sales strategy sessions

Continuously develop technical insurance knowledge and sales skills

Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and industry changes

Requirements

B2B sales experience required (insurance experience preferred but not required)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to simplify complex concepts

Proven ability to generate new business, close deals, and retain clients

Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset

Ability to build relationships and maintain trust with business owners and decision-makers
