Senior Manager, Risk Management - Card Data
Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Policy Adherence: Lead implementation & oversight of data management practices to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices.
Data Quality Management: Oversee programs to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability of Card’s most important data.
Tooling & Ecosystem Mastery: Proactively learn & master the nuances of tools used in the data management ecosystem to drive automation, efficiency, and better risk oversight.
Problem Solving & Innovation: Apply intellectual curiosity & strong analytical skills to solve complex data management challenges and identify opportunities for process transformation and automation initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Accountable Executives (AEs), Performing Data Stewards (PDSs), and tech teams to ensure data-driven initiatives align with the broader risk and well‑managed agenda.
Risk Insights & Reporting: Proactively synthesize data and reporting to provide actionable business insights to senior leadership regarding the health and compliance of the data ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
At least 5 years experience in Risk Management, Data Management, or Financial Services.
At least 4 years people leadership, team lead, or mentoring experience.
At least 4 years experience supporting & interacting with internal business clients.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree.
6+ years experience leading cross‑functional risk or data programs.
4+ years experience with data management tools and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, enterprise data cataloging tools).
Professional certification such as CISA, CDMP, or PMP.
3+ years experience in agile methodologies or design thinking.
