Responsibilities This frontline Member Experience Representative engages members at the Skyland Branch in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Open new accounts and onboard members with Alabama Credit Union.
Assist members with loan requests and financial transactions.
Handle cash and negotiable instruments (cash, checks, etc.).
Provide information about products and services to meet members' financial needs.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service skills.
Cash handling experience.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
Ability to follow procedures for account opening.
Ability to describe and sell products and services to members.
Attention to detail and fast‑paced work ability.
Desire to help others in the community.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of similar or related experience.
Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization for conflict resolution, building relationships, and discreet communication.
Physical Requirements Incumbents will sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach, and use gross and fine motor coordination for activities such as using standard office machines and handling paper, counting cash, sorting and filling paper items, scanning, and occasionally lifting supplies.
