
Mortgage Customer Service Representative

About the Role
We're seeking empathetic, customer-focused individuals to join a growing Mortgage Servicing team in Denver. This role supports homeowners by answering inbound calls and assisting with their mortgage accounts. The position focuses on first-call resolution, compassionate service, and helping customers understand their loan details. This team is expanding rapidly due to new business and high call volume during loan onboarding periods. What You'll Do
Answer inbound calls from homeowners regarding their active mortgage.
Assist with payments, account updates, password resets, and general inquiries.
Explain escrow changes, PMI, insurance/tax updates, and payment adjustments.
Provide patient, empathetic support—especially to elderly callers.
Make light outbound courtesy calls during the second half of the month (scripted reminders).
Aim for first-call resolution with no strict call time metrics.
Navigate multiple systems, update account notes, and follow compliance guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
1+ year of contact center or high‑volume customer service experience.
Strong job stability.
Excellent computer navigation skills (dual monitors, toggling programs).
Comfortable discussing payments with customers.
High empathy, patience, and communication skills.
Passion for helping others—not a transactional call environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish/English.
Mortgage servicing or banking experience.
Experience supporting elderly customers or complex call types.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
