Beam’s Millwork is seeking an Experienced Drafter/Engineer to join their team!
At Beam’s Millwork, nestled in the heart of Morgantown, PA, we’re renowned for our exceptional craftsmanship in architectural millwork. From residential sanctuaries to bustling commercial venues, our team elevates every space with unmatched precision and creativity. We’re currently seeking a skilled and driven Millwork Drafter/Engineer to join us in turning ideas into reality.
Responsibilities:
Craft detailed and precise shop drawings for customer approval.
Ensure shop drawings are completed on time to meet client deadlines.
Update shop drawings based on redline changes and field dimensions.
Engage in hand-off meetings with Sales, Estimating, and Project Management to grasp project scope.
Investigate hardware and appliance specifications to ensure accuracy.
Program jobs for CNC machining with precision.
Identify special or unique items and situations, offering creative solutions.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously to support company goals.
Update shop drawings to create accurate As-Built Drawings for project close-out.
Qualifications:
At least 3 - 5 years of hands‑on experience with AutoCAD.
Proficient with Microvellum; programming experience is a strong plus.
Extensive understanding of cabinetmaking and millwork.
Skilled in reading and interpreting architectural drawings.
Well‑versed in AWI standards.
