2nd Shift Cabinet Maker (Custom Millwork & Fabrication)
ABC Imaging is seeking a skilled and experienced
2nd Shift Cabinet Maker
to join our in-house
fabrication and millwork team . Reporting to the Fabrication Shop Manager, this role involves a full range of
custom cabinet making, woodworking, and fabrication duties
for residential and commercial projects.
This is a
second shift position (2:00 PM
10:00 PM, flexible hours) , ideal for experienced professionals seeking evening work in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and fabricate
custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, retail fixtures, client displays, and commercial interiors
Produce
wood picture frames and specialty woodworking projects
Safely operate
woodworking machinery , including table saws, miter saws, routers, and other power tools
Apply
high-pressure laminates (HPL)
and
wood veneers
Read and interpret
blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized
fabrication shop environment
Assist with
inventory control, materials management, and shop organization
Work onsite in the fabrication shop with occasional
installation and field support
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience in
cabinet making, woodworking, finish carpentry, millwork, or sign/display fabrication
Ability to read and interpret
blueprints and shop drawings
Proficiency with
hand tools and power tools , including routers, jigsaws, table saws, and precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to
quality craftsmanship
Ability to work in a
fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
Strong
multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills
Portfolio Requirement
Submit a
portfolio of 36 woodworking or fabrication projects
