Job Description Summary Parkride has an immediate opening for an experienced Leasing Professional. The Leasing Professional plays a critical role in coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing renewals.

What Your Day Might Look Like

Being part of a team while providing excellent customer service

Conduct prospect building and apartment tours, including virtual and in‑person tours

Ensuring a stellar move‑in experience for customers

Conducting market research on comps for marketing and advertising purposes

Planning and executing community events

Following up with prospects by phone and email

Utilizing social media and internet platforms to market available units

Assisting in lease renewals

Responding to resident concerns

What We Are Looking For

Previous sales and customer service experience desired; a positive can‑do attitude required

Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Yardi/OneSite is desirable but not required

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions

High level of professionalism in manner and dress

Essential Responsibilities

Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals: greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, process applications, perform credit screening and background checks, prepare leases and move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.

Inspect apartments prior to move‑in and ensure they are move‑in ready; schedule maintenance as needed.

Stay informed about market and competitor conditions; develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans; follow community policies related to concessions and specials.

Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, use of internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other websites), and follow community‑specific marketing plans.

Use on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic information.

Ensure show units meet company standards for show quality through daily inspections and communication with maintenance.

Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction via email, thank‑you notes, cards, and phone calls.

Execute lease renewal program activities: prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure renewal documents are signed on time.

Respond quickly and courteously to resident and owner concerns, and take prompt action to resolve or pass on issues as appropriate.

Required Licenses or Certifications

All licenses and/or certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.

Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.

Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.

Occasional travel may be required for training or support of other properties.

Work a flexible schedule, including overnight calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
