OSP Construction Manager
who thrives in the field, understands telecom construction, and takes pride in delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.
This role is about more than maintaining infrastructure — it’s about building the backbone of communities and leading teams to do their best work every day.
What You’ll Do
Lead the build:
Oversee installation of outside plant facilities delivering high-speed fiber.
Own safety:
Set and enforce standards for safe, compliant job sites.
Ensure quality:
Conduct field assessments to maintain high construction standards.
Problem-solve:
Partner with contractors and engineers to resolve design and field challenges.
Drive performance:
Coach and evaluate construction teams, engineers, assistants, and contractors.
Coordinate execution:
Manage splicing diagrams and cross-functional project workflows.
Support innovation:
Evaluate new products and construction approaches.
Develop your team:
Lead performance reviews, training, and career growth.
Report progress:
Provide clear weekly updates and project reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications
or
4+ years of telecom OSP experience installing, repairing, and maintaining outside plant facilities
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office , especially Excel
Experience using HES to track Service Orders, Trouble Tickets, and Facility Records
Valid driver’s license
Working knowledge of
RUS and NEC codes
related to OSP construction and maintenance
Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
