
Senior Analyst/Manager, Private Capital Investments

Overview
A sophisticated private investment organization with a long-term, fundamentals-driven approach is seeking a
Senior Analyst / Manager
to join its Private Capital Investments team. This role is focused on
manager research, due diligence, relationship management, and portfolio support
across private capital strategies, including
private equity, private credit, and related vehicles , as well as selective
co-investment opportunities .
The position offers meaningful exposure to the full private investment life cycle - sourcing, underwriting, portfolio construction, and monitoring within a collaborative, intellectually rigorous investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
comprehensive due diligence
and financial analysis on private capital investments, including fund commitments and co-investments, with a strong emphasis on private equity strategies
Build and evaluate
qualitative and quantitative investment cases , including financial modeling and scenario analysis
Prepare
clear, well-structured investment memos and presentations
for internal decision-makers and investment committees
Present findings and recommendations, articulating
risk, return, and portfolio implications
Support ongoing
monitoring of existing investments , including review of reports, valuation updates, and performance tracking
Assist with
manager sourcing and relationship management , including participation in meetings, diligence sessions, and industry events
Research
market trends, strategies, and managers
across the private capital landscape
Contribute to
portfolio construction, commitment pacing, and performance analysis
Maintain an organized investment pipeline and support internal reporting on research and portfolio activity
Perform additional duties as needed in support of the investment team
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Economics, Business , or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
4-7+ years of experience
in investment analysis, ideally within an allocator or institutional investment environment such as pension funds, family offices, endowments or foundations, OCIOS or outsourced CIO platforms, private funds, alternative investments
Strong
financial modeling and analytical skills , with advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent
written and verbal communication
skills; ability to distill complex analyses into clear, concise materials
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High integrity, professional judgment, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a team and with external stakeholders
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with shared document platforms is a plus
