
Investor Relations and Strategic Finance Intern

As an Investor Relations and Strategic Finance Intern, you will support Investor Relations (IR), Analyst Relations (AR) and the FP&A team with process improvements and analyses. You will help map best IR and AR practices, improve earnings‑related workflows, contribute to cash flow forecasting, and provide financial modeling support. The role is a hybrid position requiring three days per week at our office located at 30 Corporate Center Drive #400, Burlington, MA 01803.
What You'll Do
Investor Relations (IR)
Research attributes of world‑class IR programs; benchmark current‑state practices; propose practical improvements and help execute priority gap‑closing initiatives.
Help improve, clean up, and maintain earnings workflows and spreadsheets; introduce updated templates and operating rhythms.
Analyst Relations (AR)
Research attributes of world‑class AR programs; benchmark current‑state practices; recommend improvements and help implement selected changes.
Assist with maintaining core AR trackers and materials (e.g., contact lists, briefing prep checklists, coverage updates, recurring deliverables).
Help ensure key messages and supporting metrics are well organized, consistent, and easy to use across internal stakeholders.
FP&A / Finance Modeling
Assist with accelerating build‑out and maintenance of the corporate model, including improving structure, documentation, and assumption tables.
Help inject/maintain alternate cash flow walk(s) and improve tie‑outs to the cash flow statement, aligned with internal planning work streams.
Create and maintain a consolidated vendor master with payment timing and contract terms; document definitions and the update process for recurring use in budgeting and cash flow modeling.
What You'll Bring
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Third or Fourth‑Year students preferred).
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to work with financial and operational data carefully with strong attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication; able to synthesize research into concise takeaways.
High integrity and comfort working with confidential information in a public company environment.
Preferred Skills
Interest in capital markets and public company communications and operations (IR/AR).
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and hit deadlines during high‑tempo periods (e.g., earnings).
Confidentiality & Compliance
This role will involve access to confidential, non‑public, and/or sensitive company information. The intern must follow all company policies related to information security and public company communications, including not discussing or sharing financial results externally and obtaining appropriate approvals before responding to requests.
Reporting & Stakeholders
The intern will work across Investor Relations/Strategy and FP&A, collaborating with teammates supporting earnings processes, corporate modeling, and external‑facing IR/AR materials. The intern will report to the Director of Investor Relations and Strategy.
