
Construction Superintendent

The Position
We’re looking for a Construction Superintendent. Starting at $65K+ per year (negotiable based on experience) with a company vehicle and eligible for a yearly bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities
Direct communication with customers throughout the entire project to ensure excellent customer service.
Manage and schedule direct reports (Carpenters).
Escalate and communicate technical installation problems and troubleshooting to the Regional Construction Manager.
Ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials, supplies, permits, licenses, and inspections by Foremen and Carpenters.
Oversee timely and high-quality completion of construction and carpentry projects.
Adhere to construction scope, time and material specifications; communicate discrepancies to management.
Assist in change order estimating, approval processes, and documentation.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
Ensure productivity of all Construction division employees.
Review job cost reports to monitor labor and material expenses.
Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance.
Comply with safety practices and PPE usage; read MSDSs for chemicals requiring special handling.
Adhere to company policies as specified in the Employee Handbook and DSI safety manual.
Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
Execute work to meet or exceed applicable regulations and quality standards while delivering world-class customer service.
Maintain a clean and professional jobsite and leave a first-class impression of the work performed.
Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure timely service delivery, including participation in On-Call rotation (which may involve some nights and weekends).
Perform other duties as required. These may be outside the scope of normal job duties.
Requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Minimum 5 years Hands-On Construction Experience
2 years Project Management Experience (preferred)
Strong Remodeling/Restoration Experience (preferred)
Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation
Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
Pass background check and drug screen
Xactimate experience (preferred)
