Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent located in Miami, FL. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily onsite construction activities, manage project schedules, supervise subcontractors, ensure project safety, and maintain quality standards. Responsibilities include managing materials, coordinating inspections, addressing challenges promptly, and communicating project progress to stakeholders. The candidate will play a critical role in delivering projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with quality and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Strong experience in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision
Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding specifications, and ensuring quality compliance
Excellent team leadership and ability to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and risk management practices
Effective problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with commercial, retail, and corporate office projects preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus
Proficiency in project management software and technology tools is desirable
Valid construction supervisor license and ability to manage projects in applicable locations
