Job Overview At Alabama Credit Union, the Member Experience Representative engages members at the Gulf Shores Branch by opening new accounts, providing relationship‑building experiences, assisting with loan requests, and handling financial transactions. The role offers opportunities to recommend additional products and services.

Responsibilities

Open accounts and conduct deposits, withdrawals, credit‑card payments, balance transfers, debit‑card and check orders accurately and efficiently.

Provide members with information about products and services to serve their financial needs.

Assist members with loan requests and other financial transactions, including giving and receiving cash and negotiable instruments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Customer service skills, cash handling, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and web‑based applications).

Ability to follow procedures for account opening, describe and sell products, manage multiple priorities, and pay attention to detail.

Desire to help community members.

Preferred: 1–3 years related experience; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Interpersonal and Physical Requirements Interpersonal: frequent personal contact, conflict resolution, building relationships, confidentiality, diplomacy. Physical: sit, stand, walk, use motor coordination, lift incidental items.
