Sales Merchandiser Specialist

Overview
Locations: New Bern; Kinston. Mileage reimbursement available. Schedule: 5am – 5:30am start time until completion of the route. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday as well as during the week. 5 day work week. Requisition ID: 252479. Pay Range: $50,000 - $51,000/year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Execute commercial plans to customers on daily, pre-set routes.
Stock, merchandise, and rotate beverage sections and displays in stores.
Maintain proper inventory levels, minimize shrink, and organize back rooms where inventory is stored.
Build all displays sold locally or through other agreements.
Provide vacation coverage to Sales Merchandisers and Merchandisers.
Support day-to-day operations during key holidays or when territories are open.
Act as liaison between customer, merchandiser, and driver for order refusals and inventory overload; may be first point of contact for late PM/early AM weekends to ensure route coverage.
Foster business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests, pricing, special programs, and upcoming activities.
Identify and communicate competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business and execute duties safely.
