Marketing Intern

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer, with the opportunity to extend into the fall semester. This role offers hands‑on experience across multiple areas of marketing, including content creation, social media management, and employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, with an interest in storytelling, brand building, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Content Creation

Capture and create engaging photo and video content for marketing and internal communications

Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, presentations, and internal use

Assist in developing creative concepts that align with brand guidelines

Social Media Management

Support planning, scheduling, and publishing of social media content

Monitor engagement and assist with responding to comments/messages as appropriate

Stay up-to-date on social media trends and recommend new ideas

Employee Engagement & Internal Marketing

Assist in planning and executing on-site events and employee engagement initiatives

Support internal communications that enhance company culture

General Marketing Support

Collaborate with the marketing team on ongoing campaigns and projects

Assist with administrative tasks and project coordination as needed

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)

Actively pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field

Passionate about content creation, including photography, video, and/or graphic design

Basic proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva)

Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
