Role Summary
As a PPC & AI Optimization Specialist at ChoiceLocal, you are responsible for the hands‑on execution and ongoing optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Local Service Ads.
This role is designed for a detail-oriented, performance-driven professional with 1–3 years of PPC experience who excels in tactical execution, data analysis, and continuous refinement. You will execute established strategies, monitor campaign health, and leverage AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and results.
You are fully accountable for campaign accuracy, optimization discipline, and performance improvements within your assigned book of business.
Your work directly impacts client performance, retention, and ChoiceLocal’s operational excellence.
Mandatory Job Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization
Build, launch, and manage PPC campaigns within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Local Service Ads.
Execute optimization adjustments aligned with best practices and leadership direction.
Optimize:
Keywords and match types
Negative keyword lists
Ad copy variations
Ad extensions
Bid adjustments
Conduct weekly performance reviews across all assigned accounts.
Identify underperforming components and implement corrective actions quickly.
Ensure conversion tracking, call tracking, and lead verification are accurate.
Maintain strict adherence to internal quality standards and best practices.
AI-Driven Optimization
Leverage AI-powered features such as:
Smart Bidding strategies
Automated rules
Performance Max (where applicable)
AI-assisted ad copy refinement
Use AI tools to:
Identify performance patterns
Improve efficiency in testing
Support controlled testing of automation strategies while maintaining human oversight.
Stay current on emerging AI developments in PPC and apply them where appropriate.
Performance Monitoring & Accountability
Monitor KPIs including:
Conversion rate
Click-through rate
Quality Score
Proactively flag concerns and recommend tactical adjustments.
Support performance reviews with Strategists, Managers, Account Executives, and Account Directors.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Business, Analytics, or related field.
1–3 years of hands‑on PPC/search campaign execution experience.
Experience managing campaigns in:
Google Ads
Microsoft Ads
Local Service Ads
Familiarity with:
Smart Bidding
Conversion tracking setup
A/B testing
Keyword research and optimization
Experience with Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
