Freight Forwarding Partnerships Manager - Americas
SkyCell AG, Columbia, SC, United States
Are you a commercially driven logistics professional who understands that freight forwarding is about building the right partner ecosystem, unlocking scalable lane solutions, and creating the operational backbone for long‑term growth? SkyCell is a high‑tech supply chain ecosystem that combines hybrid hardware, IoT telemetry, and risk‑assessment software. As we expand across the Americas, we need a commercially minded individual contributor to shape and grow our freight forwarding and logistics partner network in the region.
This role is strategic and commercially focused. It is not a traditional operations role; instead it requires someone who can identify growth opportunities, develop high‑value logistics partnerships, improve forwarding capabilities, and help position SkyCell for scalable success.
Mission
You will drive the commercial development of SkyCell's freight forwarding and logistics partner landscape across the Americas. Your role is to build, strengthen and optimize strategic relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, 4PLs and other logistics stakeholders that enable regional growth, improve customer value, and support long‑term commercial success. You are not here to manage day‑to‑day shipment bookings; you are here to create the network, partnerships, and regional logistics strategy that allow SkyCell to win more business, scale more effectively, and deliver a differentiated customer offering.
Why SkyCell?
A Growth Platform with Purpose – expand a supply chain ecosystem that protects life‑saving pharmaceutical products while advancing sustainability and smarter cold‑chain logistics.
More Than a Freight Role – help shape how SkyCell goes to market in the Americas by developing the partner infrastructure behind commercial growth.
Strategic Ownership – own a critical growth lever in the region: the quality, reach, and strategic value of our freight forwarding and logistics partnerships.
Real Market Influence – work across Sales, Operations, Client Services and HQ leadership to translate market needs into long‑term partner strategy and regional business opportunities.

Drive regional growth: identify and lead initiatives that expand SkyCell's forwarding footprint, improve market access, and strengthen our position across key geographies and trade lanes.
Design strategic logistics solutions: collaborate with commercial and operational teams to create partner‑based solutions that meet customer needs and enable scalable regional offerings.
Lead partner development & commercial agreements: negotiate terms, build joint growth plans, and establish long‑term partnerships that enhance service, pricing, and market reach.
Translate market insights into action: monitor market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new partnerships, network expansion, and targeted business development.
Support strategic opportunities: act as the logistics partner expert in commercial discussions, shaping solutions, pricing logic, and regional service models.
