Overview
Title: Help Desk Analyst -65620
Location: Hartford, CT (on-site in Middletown, CT)
Duration: 6+ Months | Job Type: C
Overview: The agency needs to engage the service of a Help Desk Technician consultant position. The candidate will provide telephone and remote-control support for level one computer issues and participate in the processing and maintenance of DCF User Administration forms.
Responsibilities
Provide level one technical support (telephone and remote) and assist with processing agency user forms for moves, adds, and changes.
Receive forms from agency staff, verify completeness, make necessary changes to system administration, and ensure proper retention of forms.
Follow agency procedures and maintain attention to detail; communicate with agency supervisors and other agencies as required.
Review forms for completeness and assist customers with proper completion of forms.
Assist in creating and modifying user accounts on various agency systems; interact with other state agencies as required to complete processing.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience with:
PC hardware and software installation
End user support (face to face and via telephone)
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred/Desirable
Experience with computer system and user administration
Technical familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with Windows 10, 11
Experience with Office 365
Experience with Device Management, Device Imaging, Device Troubleshooting
