Datadog, New York, NY, United States

Overview

The Team: The GTM Strategy & Operations Senior Associate – Sales Development & AI will join a global team driving Datadog’s next phase of growth, with a dedicated focus on our Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization and driving SDR productivity through AI solutions. We’re interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds in tech, management consulting, investment banking, and business development to accelerate Datadog’s global growth. We work directly with Datadog’s most senior leaders to set corporate strategy, launch new GTM programs, improve efficiency across the business, and support data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will act as a key partner to SDR leadership, helping shape their highest priority initiatives. This is not a purely strategic role — it is equally focused on building, launching, and deploying solutions that improve SDR and sales productivity, efficiency, and pipeline generation. This is an exciting time to join the team as we actively test and deploy new AI-driven solutions across the Sales organization.
Datadog values a hybrid workplace and collaborative culture to support work-life harmony.

The Opportunity

As a GTM Strategy & Operations Senior Associate – Sales Development & AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving impact for our global SDR organization and defining our SDR AI roadmap. Strategic partnership with SDR leadership: Partner directly with Sales Development leaders to shape team strategy, prioritize key initiatives, and execute against top objectives.
SDR AI roadmap & execution: Define how we should leverage AI to better optimize our outbound and inbound motions.
GTM analysis and reporting: Analyze SDR and GTM data to identify trends, uncover performance gaps, and inform decision-making on coverage, segmentation, and channel efficiency.
Strategic roadmap development: Help define and execute the roadmap for scaling the SDR organization in line with growth targets, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and productivity.
Data visualization and insights: Build dashboards and reporting to deliver actionable insights and monitor the impact of deployed initiatives.
What we’re looking for

Experience: 3–5 years in GTM/growth/revenue strategy, management consulting, investment banking/equity research, or a similar role (experience working with Sales or SDR teams is a plus).

Interest in GTM AI innovation: Strong interest in exploring, launching, and scaling new GTM AI technologies to improve sales development productivity and effectiveness.

Creative problem solving: Comfort operating in ambiguity and structuring loosely defined problems.
Strategic thinking: Ability to break down complex problems into structured insights and clear action plans.
