Senior Interior Designer - Commercial

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer - Commercial, based in Schaumburg, IL. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for commercial spaces, including space planning, development of interior concepts, and creating detailed construction drawings. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals are achieved, select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to enhance functionality and aesthetics, and oversee the execution of design projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create aesthetically pleasing and functional environments

Experience with Construction Drawings and Architecture to produce detailed project documentation

Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification to enhance the functionality and design of commercial interiors

Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple design projects simultaneously

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD

Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions

NCIDQ Certification or equivalent credentials is a plus
