
Proposals Manager

The Proposals Manager is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and submission of competitive, high-quality proposals for industrial gas supply and infrastructure solutions within semiconductor manufacturing environments. This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and project management skills to support complex, high-value bids for semiconductor fabrication plants.
Key Duties:
Lead end-to-end proposal development for industrial gas supply systems (bulk gases, specialty gases, on-site generation, and distribution systems).
Coordinate cross‑functional inputs from engineering, operations, finance, legal, and procurement teams.
Develop clear, compelling, and compliant technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
Manage proposal timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure on‑time submission.
Translate customer specifications (e.g., ultra‑high purity gas requirements, redundancy, uptime guarantees) into tailored solutions.
Work closely with engineering teams to define system designs, layouts, and performance specifications.
Collaborate with finance to build pricing models, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
Interface with customers during tender phases to clarify requirements and present solutions.
Support sales teams in client presentations, bid clarifications, and negotiations.
Ensure proposals reflect customer priorities such as reliability, safety, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Identify technical, commercial, and contractual risks within proposals and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and semiconductor‑specific requirements.
Maintain consistency with safety and environmental policies.
Develop and maintain proposal templates, tools, and best practices.
Capture lessons learned from previous bids to improve future proposal quality and efficiency.
Monitor market trends and competitor offerings in the semiconductor gas supply space.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
5–10 years of experience in proposal management, bid management, or technical sales within industrial gases, semiconductor, or related industries.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and ultra‑high purity gas systems is highly desirable.
Proven experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary proposals.
