Training & Development Designers receive 5 days of intensive classroom training on design and drafting, followed by their first appointments. In the first three months designers have a full schedule of appointments and continuing training sessions, including field and advanced design training.
Compensation Designers are paid on commission only, with an investment of approximately $5,000 per month in leads. After the first three months, designers who maintain the minimum closing ratio can expect a full schedule throughout their career. Average earnings after the first year range from $5,000 to $7,000 per month; above average designers earn between $80K and $100K per year.
Responsibilities Designers are required to work one evening per week and every third Saturday of each month. They attend all appointments and training sessions as scheduled.
