CHANEL is looking for an associate to join our events Team in New York. You will play a leading role in supporting the events team through the planning, execution, and post‑event process for all image, press events and special initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events from concept through completion
Provide onsite event support, including vendor coordination, guest experience management, and oversight of event flow to ensure successful execution.
Manage event timelines, logistics, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution
Develop clear, compelling, and comprehensive decks—including event overviews, venue proposals, mood boards, and post‑event recaps delivered with accuracy and timeliness
Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners to align event strategy, goals, and execution plans
Confidently present event concepts, planning updates, and post‑event insights to internal stakeholders
Manage budgets for individual events, including expense tracking, accruals, and budget reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Coordinate creative asset development by submitting and tracking requests for invitations, menus, and other print or digital event materials.
Partner with Indirect Procurement and Legal teams to facilitate vendor contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Coordinate vendor onboarding and ensure vendors are properly set up in internal systems to enable timely invoicing and payment processing.
Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and provide logistical support throughout the event planning process.
Position Requirements
2 years of experience (dependent upon internship experience)
Bachelor’s degree
Position based in New York office
Travel requirement: up to 20 % Travel, dependent on event schedule and locations
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $34,000 through $44,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
