
Junior Brand Manager

Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment and media organization, is seeking an Associate Manager to join a high-performing team supporting major collegiate sports properties. This role is designed to provide immediate impact while also serving as a potential pathway to a full-time opportunity.
This is a hybrid position based in New York City (7 Hudson), requiring four days onsite and one remote.
The Associate Manager will function as a hybrid between a Coordinator and Associate Manager, operating at a higher level of ownership and execution. This role is critical in supporting sales teams by delivering high-quality materials, insights, and organization across multiple sports properties.
What You Will Do
Support feature booking and sales enablement efforts across key sports properties
Create and refine client and prospect-facing sales decks (typically 10–15 slides)
Manage pricing requests in collaboration with Revenue Management
Build and maintain trackers for pitches and active sales opportunities
Provide meeting support, including note-taking and follow-ups
Develop materials and insights to support Account Executives in selling media packages
Partner with subject-matter experts across properties such as College Basketball, ACC Network, NCAA Championships, College Football, and more
The Right Candidate Will Have
3+ years of relevant experience in media, sports marketing, or sales support
Experience supporting digital and/or linear media sales environments
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, and Word
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with high responsiveness
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong accountability
Nice to Have
Understanding of the NCAA sports landscape, including conference alignment, media rights, and NI
Experience within ad agencies, brand-side sports marketing, or media organizations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
High attention to detail and effective time management
Creative thinking and strong presentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Willingness to travel occasionally for events
