About the Role We are searching for a Neuroscience Sales Representative in Providence, RI, covering southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and all of Rhode Island.

Job Responsibilities

Follow compliance guidelines to drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within the assigned territory by calling on predominantly Primary Care HCP offices and select PC targets in both in-person and virtual settings.

Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‑label prescribing for appropriate patients.

Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customers’ needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Function independently with sales proficiency to drive performance and ensure forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.

Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and routinely share such information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Provide special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs that fall within ethical guidelines.

Work with District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.

Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Meet or exceed all deliverables and expectations.

Create and build a compliant business plan based on depth and breadth of customer needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and job‑related training within the required timelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

1+ year of documented success in B2B sales (pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales preferred).

Experience with antipsychotic, bipolar, or related neuroscience products is a plus.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers, with patient‑centricity as a core value.

High integrity and adherence to the company’s compliance policies and procedures.

Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, decision‑making judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Proven track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments, such as during the COVID‑19 pandemic.

Ability to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.

Acceptance of flexible work hours, including meetings outside normal hours.

Willingness to travel overnight and occasionally across domestic borders for training and sales meetings.

Capability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Anticipated Compensation Base pay range: $79,000 – $130,000.
