What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Representative 1?
Resolving system‑identified errors such as missing insurance data, patient demographics, and front‑end denials
Updating and maintaining accurate patient records within clinical systems
Entering requisition data and assigning
ICD‑10 diagnosis codes
based on physician notes
Supporting billing processes while ensuring compliance with documentation standards
Assisting patients through inbound calls, addressing concerns and providing solutions
Processing
credit card payments
and handling account‑related inquiries
Managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a high‑volume environment
Collaborating with team members while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
At least
1 year of experience in medical billing
Basic knowledge of
Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
Familiarity with
medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel, Outlook
and general computer systems
Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills
