Role Summary
The Product Architect contributes to business growth by defining and developing AI‑driven design automation solutions for custom IC and analog/mixed‑signal designs. The role focuses on Siemens native platforms, including L‑Edit, as well as third‑party, OpenAccess‑based design environments.

Key Responsibilities
Layout Automation & Design Migration

Define layout automation capabilities for custom IC and analog/mixed‑signal designs.

Apply AI innovation to deliver breakthroughs in design migration.

Align solutions with modern process technologies and foundry requirements.

Platform Integration & Automation

Design and implement integrations within Siemens tooling, including L‑Edit, and third‑party, OpenAccess‑based frameworks.

Develop and maintain SKILL‑based and other scripting‑based automation for layout and migration workflows.

Establish clear integration patterns and technical best practices.

AI & Intelligent Workflows

Apply AI and machine‑learning techniques to layout automation, design migration, and optimization.

Evaluate emerging AI‑based methods and translate them into product capabilities.

Track industry developments in intelligent design workflows.

Qualifications

Experience designing or implementing AI‑driven workflows for EDA, layout, or design migration.

Strong hands‑on experience with SKILL‑based integrations and design automation.

Proven delivery of complex EDA software or design automation products.

Experience with Siemens custom IC design tools, including L‑Edit, and/or third‑party, OpenAccess‑based environments.

Background in layout automation, design migration, or analog design workflows.

Team and technical leadership experience.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
