What you will be doing:
Join a dynamic team of highly regarded labor and employment lawyers.
Take on significant levels of responsibility, client interaction, and leadership roles.
Work on litigation and non‑litigation matters for a wide range of clients.
Be involved in all aspects of practice, including pre‑complaint investigations, case analysis, strategy drafting, and responding to discovery.
Take and defend depositions, handle motions and other court appearances.
Manage administrative matters before various state and federal agencies.
Run day‑to‑day aspects of arbitration and trials, mediations, advise and counseling.
Conduct legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas.
Engage in single‑plaintiff EEO, PAGA, and other class/collective action litigation.
Experience you will need:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in employment law defense litigation in California.
Class/collective action experience is preferable.
Highly motivated and responsive with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Value a collaborative team environment and be prepared to work independently.
Assume significant responsibilities.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Juris Doctor degree.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California.
Must have a California bar license.
Meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
