
Segment Marketing Manager

Job Overview
This role is essential for optimizing the portfolio of products and services across diverse business segments to maximize revenue and reduce customer churn. It involves planning, creating, and producing marketing communications to implement strategic objectives effectively. The role requires developing business cases that consider market dynamics, consumer behavior, competitive actions, and channel conflicts. Success is measured by the ability to drive long‑term customer engagement and achieve targeted business outcomes. The work impacts the organization by enhancing market presence and supporting sustained customer relationships through coordinated, account‑focused marketing efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing plans and business cases to support product and service communication and distribution
Prepare recommendations for annual business plans, strategies, and tactical marketing plans
Collaborate with creative, merchandising, advertising teams, and agencies to develop marketing materials and value propositions
Partner with marketing planning, analysis, consumer insights, and product management teams to inform promotion, pricing, and product roadmaps
Coordinate cross‑functional partnerships with sales, product management, and operations to ensure consistent execution and brand presentation
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
4-7 years Marketing experience (Preferred)
4-7 years Experience in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods, with a focus on Marketing, Product Management or Sales (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $88,100 - $158,800

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T‑Mobile, employees in regular, non‑temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most corporate employees are eligible for a year‑end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in customer care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
