Materials Designer (Footwear/ Apparel)

We are looking for a creative and driven
Apparel/ Footwear Product Designer
who can help shape the future of sport and lifestyle products. This role requires a strong balance of creativity, technical understanding, and problem-solving ability to design products that meet both athlete and consumer needs.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can work across both
apparel/footwear categories .
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative
apparel / footwear products
from concept to final execution
Translate consumer insights and athlete needs into functional and aesthetic product solutions
Create accurate
2D technical drawings (tech packs)
for apparel and/ or footwear
Develop multiple design concepts and refine them based on feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, materials, and manufacturing
Ensure designs align with performance, comfort, and style requirements
Stay updated with trends in sport, streetwear, and performance design
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of experience in apparel/footwear design
Strong understanding of
design fundamentals : form, color, materials, and construction
Proficiency in
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Ability to create detailed and accurate
tech packs
Knowledge of
materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
prototyping, pattern making, or footwear development (e.g., cobbling)
Familiarity with
3D design tools
Experience with visualization tools such as
Vizcom
Strong understanding of
sport/streetwear culture
