Channel Marketing Manager – Retail

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing, product marketing, business, communications or a related field (preferred)
5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience
5+ years of experience with major home‑center retailers
Knowledge of the residential building industry (plus)
Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
Comfortable working in a cloud‑based environment
Experience managing and selling across multiple retail sales channels
Strategic planning: develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals
Strong written and verbal communication for effective collaboration with partners and internal teams
Project management: manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within scope
Analytical skills to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics for data‑driven decisions
Relationship building: maintain relationships with channel partners and stakeholders
Budget management: manage marketing budgets and optimize spending for maximum ROI
Technical proficiency: familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, e‑mail marketing) and knowledge of digital marketing techniques
Comfortable working in a matrix environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, communicate, implement, and manage a channel marketing strategy for the assigned channel type
Keep a pulse on channel‑partner trends and drive marketing excellence across the organization
Drive strategy and growth within the assigned target customer base
Develop KPIs, proposals, business cases, and ROI models with partners
Organize and execute campaigns through internal resources and external vendors
Track and optimize the performance of new and existing partnerships
Set strategic and tactical direction for channel marketing activities that generate revenue in the region
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and dealers to generate revenue and drive sales
Identify high‑value leads and potential partners and develop strategies to turn those connections into profitable relationships
Educate teams about products and represent the company’s entire range of products and services
Meet sales objectives, company profitability goals, and ensure partners meet company sales goals and standards
Recruit, train, manage, and support partners and provide guidance, feedback, incentives, and resources
Coordinate with other company personnel, such as the support and management teams, to meet customer and partner expectations
Travel to customer events, industry meetings, and company onsite meetings as necessary
Coordinate with other sales channels to avoid potential conflicts
Facilitate indirect sales deals to third‑party resellers of goods and services
