Overview
Senior Marketing and Event Experience Specialist will support, lead planning sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging experiences and tours at Optum's Innovation Centers.

Responsibilities

Provide support and lead planning sessions for events and tours.

Collaborate with stakeholders to create meaningful and memorable experiences.

Utilize the briefing management platform and plan off‑site visit support elements.

Build and maintain relationships with executive team members, executive assistants, and business leaders.

Manage marketing materials and process documentation for the Innovation Centers.

Maintain the content library and attend new content training sessions.

Support cross‑marketing projects as needed.

Ensure all event planning processes are accurate, consistent, and of high quality.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

18 years of age or older.

At least 3 years of experience in the event planning industry.

Strong cross‑collaboration skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.

Ability to work in the Eden Prairie, MN office 4 days per week.

Full‑time (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, with flexible 8‑hour shift schedule; occasional overtime may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of customer service industry experience.

Effective collaboration with individuals at all organizational levels, from frontline staff to executive leadership.

Track record of managing events of varying scale and scope.

History of driving innovation.

Fast learner with a proactive approach to acquiring new skills.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Experience using Canva.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $60,200 - $107,400 annually, based on full‑time employment. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
