Job Title: Direct Mail Campaign Manager / Marketing Project Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)

Duration: 8-month contract (potential extension)

Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour on W2

Role Overview
We are seeking a Direct Mail Campaign Manager / Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of direct mail marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for managing campaign timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and compliance requirements while ensuring high-quality delivery and operational efficiency.

This is a hands‑on, execution-focused role that requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution

Develop and manage comprehensive campaign plans including timelines, production schedules, and mail plans

Coordinate cross‑functional teams including marketing, creative, compliance, and analytics

Manage campaign specifications, approvals, and execution from start to finish

Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Align direct mail campaigns with broader marketing initiatives

Production & Operations

Oversee production processes including print specifications and vendor instructions

Manage mailing logistics and coordinate campaign drops

Review proofs, audits, and production samples to ensure accuracy and quality

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure all campaign materials meet regulatory and compliance requirements

Partner with internal teams to secure necessary approvals

Maintain quality standards throughout the campaign lifecycle

Budget & Cost Management

Develop and manage campaign budgets and cost estimates

Track expenses, process invoices, and perform financial reconciliation

Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Understand and manage key metrics such as cost per piece (CPP) and cost per acquisition (CPA)

Partner with print and mail vendors to execute campaigns

Manage vendor performance, timelines, and service level agreements

Negotiate pricing and resolve production issues as needed

Process Improvement & Optimization

Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and operational processes

Support testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives

Share insights and best practices with internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in direct mail campaigns, print production, or marketing project management

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

Experience working with vendors and cross‑functional teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services or regulated industries

Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements

Familiarity with campaign performance metrics and targeting strategies
